Request Event: Date a robot

Hello everyone! Happy Valentine’s day!

I am opening requests for the rest of the week but in return you need to help me with your love for robots!

As some of you may know I am working in a personal 3d short film. https://primaryobjective.tumblr.com/

I was told that the story is too typical, so I am planning in changing it. For that, I am looking for opinions and suggestions.

So I need you to respond to this question: If you meet the robot of your dreams, what would you do to impress them? In return I will draw a small sketch of one character for you.

• Modify road to look more futuristic.
• Modify truck model and add some more textures.
• Lighting test.
• Condense the story for the layout. 
  
• Start animation, still in progress.

This week was: Failed experiments and some success.

This week accomplishment

• Finish the modeling for the 2 main characters
• Finish a fast texturing for Shark. Maybe going to change
• Finish rigging for both characters (with help of advance skeleton)
• Test animation
  
• Change story and made a really rough layout

A new journey begins

Welcome everyone! New year new project!

This blog will be focused in the development of my 3rd Year Short Film “Primary Objective” A 3d Animation short about robot fighting!  Why are they fighting? I am still trying to figure that out ha ha.

Any way, every Tuesday I will be posting about the progress of the film from the story changes to small details on the model and look of the film, concept art and animation tests. Everything that I can accumulate in a week of work.

So if you are interested in following a 3 year 3d animation student trying to make a film feel free to follow!

Here a new blog for the development of my short film. The first big update is already up! Really rough animatic included. Follow if you are interested. I was thinking about reblogging the updates but they are quite long haha.

I have been out of the social media loop since the new year and will keep been out the loop with the amount of school work for this semester.
